Manatee Artworks was formed with the idea that a small portion of all sales be donated for the preservation of manatees and other endangered species. She studied at Louisiana State University and earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Ceramics. She resides in Perdido Key, Florida now working as an Art teacher at Myrtle Grove Elementary School.
